Welcome to The Wadham! Here’s What You Need to Know About Your Stay

Only one booking policy will apply depending on how short notice the booking is made.

  • Check-In/Out: We look forward to welcoming you! Check-in is between 4 PM and 6 PM, with the possibility of early or late check-in by arrangement (additional charges may apply). On your departure day, check-out is at 10 AM, and late check-out can also be arranged in advance.
  • Smoking Policy: To keep our environment pleasant for all guests, smoking is not allowed anywhere in the building, including balconies and windows. A £100 charge applies for smoking violations, and guests may be asked to leave without a refund.
  • Guest Limits: Each room has a maximum occupancy that’s clearly stated during booking. To ensure a comfortable stay for everyone, we reserve the right to refuse entry if this limit is exceeded.
  • Damage Reporting: We appreciate your help in keeping our space beautiful! Please report any damages or losses as soon as possible. We may charge for replacement costs if items are damaged or missing.
  • Allergies: Your health is important to us! Please let us know about any allergies when you book.
  • Payment: To secure your stay, payment is due 14 days in advance via credit/debit card, cash, cheque, or BACS. A valid credit card is required to guarantee the booking. If you booked through an agent, their terms may differ.
  • Noise Policy: Our guests come to relax and unwind, so we kindly ask you to keep noise levels to a minimum.
  • Group Bookings: We love hosting families and couples, but we do not accept Stag or Hen parties unless discussed in advance. Unauthorized group arrivals won’t be accepted, and unfortunately, no refunds will be given.
  • Non-Resident Access: For the comfort of our guests, non-residents are not allowed on the property unless arranged beforehand.
  • Cancellations: If you need to change or cancel your booking, please do so at least 14 days before your arrival. After that, a charge equal to the full booking amount will be applied for cancellations made less than 14 days prior. In the event of a no-show or a reduction in booking after the arrival date, the full cost of the booking will be charged. We recommend considering travel insurance for peace of mind.
  • Agent Bookings: If you booked through an agent, please reach out to them directly for any cancellations.
